  • Author: Jackson Walker

Description

Old-fashioned, no-bake, and unbelievably rich—this pecan log is one of those magical recipes that tastes like it took all day but comes together in minutes. With crunchy pecans, creamy sweetness, and a buttery cookie base, this Southern classic is a keeper from Nana’s kitchen to yours.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

2 cups chopped pecans (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

Crush the vanilla wafers into fine crumbs (a food processor works great).

In a large bowl, mix the crumbs with condensed milk until fully combined.

Stir in chopped pecans.

Shape mixture into a log using wax paper or plastic wrap.

Roll in additional pecans if desired for a pretty finish.

Wrap tightly and chill for several hours or overnight.

Slice and serve cold or at room temp.
