Description

Get ready to stir up some chaos in the best way possible—Monster Mash Brownies are here to steal the show! These vibrant, colorful treats combine fudgy brownie goodness with wild decorations like googly eyes, bright frosting, and creepy candy crunch. Doubled up and totally customizable, they’re the ultimate Halloween party hit.

Ingredients

Scale

2 boxes brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as listed)

½ tsp vanilla extract (adds depth)

Green, purple, and orange frosting (store-bought or homemade)

Candy eyes (variety of sizes for fun expressions)

Sprinkles, candy shards, crushed cookies, or gummy worms for topping

Optional: ½ cup mini chocolate chips or peanut butter chips in the batter

Optional: edible glitter or gel icing for extra monster magic

Instructions

Preheat oven to the temperature listed on the brownie box. Grease a 9×13-inch pan (or two 8×8 pans).

Prepare brownie batter according to the box instructions, stirring in vanilla and any mix-ins if using.

Pour into prepared pans and bake as directed. Let cool completely.

Cut into 24 squares.

Divide and decorate: spread different colored frosting on top of each brownie square.

Add candy eyes in goofy combinations, scatter sprinkles or crushed candy, and let your monster creativity run wild!

Use gel icing to draw mouths, scars, or monster faces. Chill briefly to set.
