Description

A refreshing salad bursting with the vibrant flavors of ripe mango and creamy avocado, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Mangoes
  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1 Red Capsicum (Bell Pepper)
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Coriander/Cilantro
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli Flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Chop the Mango, cut the Avocado, dice the Red Bell Pepper, mince the Red Onion, chop the Cucumber, and finely chop the Coriander/Cilantro.
  2. Combine Everything: In a large mixing bowl, toss together all the chopped ingredients.
  3. Dress the Salad: Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, salt, and red chili flakes. Drizzle over the salad and gently toss.
  4. Adjust Seasoning & Serve: Taste and adjust with more salt, lime juice, or chili flakes as desired.

Notes

To prevent the avocado from browning, keep it separate until ready to serve. Serve with lime wedges and garnish with extra cilantro.
