Description

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (Boneless, skinless)
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (unsalted)
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Juice of 2 Lemons (freshly squeezed)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Sear the chicken in a large oven-safe skillet with melted butter for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and stir gently for about 1 minute.
  5. Incorporate the lemon juice, scraping any brown bits from the skillet.
  6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the chicken and mix gently.
  7. Bake the skillet in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Finish by letting the chicken rest for 5 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil. Experiment with herbs for added flavor.
