- 4 Chicken Breasts (Boneless, skinless)
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- 1/2 Cup Butter (unsalted)
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- Juice of 2 Lemons (freshly squeezed)
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear the chicken in a large oven-safe skillet with melted butter for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and stir gently for about 1 minute.
- Incorporate the lemon juice, scraping any brown bits from the skillet.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the chicken and mix gently.
- Bake the skillet in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Finish by letting the chicken rest for 5 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil. Experiment with herbs for added flavor.
