High Protein Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Description

A delicious, protein-packed twist on classic pizza rolls with gooey mozzarella and savory pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • Pepperoni Slices
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Olive Oil
  • Egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a well-floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into squares or rectangles, roughly 3×3 inches.
  4. Add a couple of slices of pepperoni to the center of each square, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Fold the dough over to form a triangle or roll it up, sealing the edges.
  6. Whisk the egg with a splash of water or milk and brush over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden-brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap pepperoni with roasted veggies or plant-based pepperoni.
