High-Protein Honey Garlic Butter Chicken with Mac & Cheese

Description

A flavorful fusion of high-protein honey garlic butter chicken served with creamy mac and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 3 Chicken Breasts (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Avocado Oil (or oil of choice)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 4 Cloves Garlic (minced) for mac & cheese
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 oz Elbow Macaroni (cooked al dente)
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika for mac & cheese
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder for mac & cheese
  • 2 tsp Salt for mac & cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper for mac & cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken cubes with smoked paprika, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken cubes to the skillet and sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Mix honey and butter in a bowl, then pour over the cooked chicken, stirring to combine.
  5. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in another pot over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well. Reduce heat to low and stir in mozzarella and cheddar until melted.
  7. Add the cooked elbow macaroni and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Serve the chicken hot with mac and cheese on the side, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper to the sauce. For a veggie boost, toss in sautéed vegetables to the mac and cheese.
