- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices of smoky bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 onion rings
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce and tomato (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by laying them out and chopping your lettuce and slicing your tomatoes if using.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet or on the grill over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Form the patties by mixing ground beef with salt and pepper, dividing into four portions, and shaping them into patties.
- Cook the patties in the same skillet or on the grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and top with bacon and BBQ sauce for another 3-4 minutes.
- Prep the buns by toasting them in another skillet or on the grill, optionally adding butter for extra flavor.
- Assemble the burgers with BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, the patty with bacon, onion rings, lettuce, and tomato, and then the top bun.
- Serve the burgers hot with fries or a salad and enjoy!
