- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup shredded carrot
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, shredded carrot, chopped green bell pepper, egg, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Shape about 2 tablespoons of mixture into meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Prepare the sauce by mixing together pineapple chunks, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and half of the sesame seeds in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Glaze the cooked meatballs in the sauce.
- Serve the meatballs topped with remaining sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
