Description

A flavorful grilled chicken marinade that transforms boneless breasts into savory, juicy bites, perfect for any barbecue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl, pouring in olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything together thoroughly.
  3. Prepare the chicken by making sure it’s thawed and patted dry.
  4. Marinate the chicken in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish, pouring the marinade over the top.
  5. Let it soak in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or preferably a few hours or overnight.
  6. Fire up the grill over medium heat and grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side.
  7. Rest the chicken after grilling for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a different flavor, try using avocado or coconut oil. If you’re vegan, substitute honey with maple syrup.
