Grilled Chicken Margherita

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese

2 medium tomatoes, sliced

Fresh basil leaves

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling


Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.

During the last minute of grilling, top each chicken breast with a slice of mozzarella and allow it to melt slightly.

Remove from the grill, top with fresh tomato slices and basil leaves.

Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
