Description
A glorious fusion of gooey grilled cheese and hearty burrito flavors, creating a flavor explosion in every bite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add your ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- Add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir everything together until the beef is well-coated with the seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked beef, white rice, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese in a large bowl. Mix until well-incorporated.
- Lay out your flour tortillas on a clean surface. Place a generous scoop of the filling mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Fold the sides in, then roll the burrito tightly from the bottom up.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add some butter or oil. Place the burrito seam-side down on the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the burritos from the skillet and let them sit for a minute before slicing them in half diagonally.
Notes
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like salsa or guacamole. Feel free to customize the filling with different proteins or veggies.
