- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Rinse the boneless chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Marinate: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken in the mix and let sit for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill: Fire up your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill: Place the chicken on the grill. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip & cook: After flipping, cook for another 6-7 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness—165°F is the magic number.
- Rest the chicken: Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
