- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring every piece is thoroughly coated. Let marinate in the fridge for at least an hour or up to overnight.
- Heat the Grill or Pan: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates if using a grill.
- Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off excess. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest and Garnish: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Chop fresh parsley and slice lemon wedges.
- Serve: Slice the chicken and arrange on a platter. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of olive oil or sprinkle additional smoked paprika before serving. This dish also works with shrimp or pork chops using the same marinade.
