Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip)
- 1 medium zucchini, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping zucchini into half-moons and cutting steak into 1-inch cubes.
- Season steak cubes with salt and black pepper in a bowl and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, sear steak cubes in a single layer for 1-2 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and stir to coat steak. Cook for another minute.
- Add zucchini and stir gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes until zucchini is slightly tender.
- Remove from heat and top with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with potato wedges or a green salad. Enjoy with crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter sauce.
