Ingredients
2 boxes brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as listed)
½ tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)
1½ cups white frosting (store-bought or homemade)
Gel food coloring (red, green, purple, etc.)
24–36 candy eyeballs (mix sizes for a spooky effect)
Optional: strawberry or raspberry jam (for bloody touches)
Instructions
Preheat oven to the temperature listed on your brownie mix. Grease a 9×13-inch pan (or two 8×8 pans).
Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips, if using.
Pour into pans and bake as directed. Cool completely.
Cut brownies into 24 squares.
Tint frosting with your choice of eerie colors. Spread or pipe onto each brownie top.
Press one or more candy eyeballs into the frosting of each brownie.
For extra horror, drizzle a little jam around the eye to mimic blood, or use red gel icing for a dramatic drip.
