- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Cilantro (finely chopped)
- 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
- ½ teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions
- Gather Your Ingredients.
- Prepping the Marinade: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, and brown sugar. Mix them together with a whisk or a fork until they’re well blended.
- Add the Wet Ingredients: Next, add the lime juice and olive oil to your spice mix. Whisk this together until completely combined.
- Incorporate Fresh Ingredients: Now, chop up your fresh cilantro and toss it into the marinade.
- Prepare the Chicken: Take your boneless chicken breasts and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Marinating the Chicken: Place the chicken breast in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Let It Rest: Pop the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes—up to 4 hours for maximum flavor absorption.
- Cooking the Chicken: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for around 6-8 minutes on each side.
- Let It Rest Again: Once cooked, let your chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve and Enjoy!
