Description

Delicious and nostalgic pinwheels made with ham, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 12 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (sliced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup baby spinach (or mixed greens)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Dijon mustard, mixing until creamy and smooth.
  2. Lay out the tortillas on a clean countertop or large cutting board.
  3. Spread about 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges.
  4. Layer approximately 3 oz of sliced ham, followed by cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and spinach on each tortilla.
  5. Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log and wrap tightly in plastic wrap; refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
  6. Once set, slice the tortilla log into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and garnish with fresh herbs or a side of dipping sauce.

Notes

You can prepare the pinwheels the day before and store them in the fridge. Experiment with different fillings and dips for variety!
