Ingredients
2 (15 oz) cans pumpkin purée
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground ginger or 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
1 tbsp maple syrup (for subtle sweetness)
4 cups vegetable broth
1 cup coconut milk (or heavy cream)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional Twists:
1 tsp curry powder (for a savory depth)

Instructions
