Description
A comforting dish of soft gnocchi combined with vibrant spinach and tangy feta cheese, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500g Gnocchi
- 200g Fresh Spinach
- 150g Feta Cheese, Crumbled
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Parmesan Cheese for Serving
Instructions
- Cook the Gnocchi: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Toss in your gnocchi and cook them according to package directions—about 2-3 minutes until they float. Remove and drain, saving a bit of pasta water.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the Spinach: Toss in spinach and stir until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the Cream: Lower heat and add heavy cream, stirring gently until it bubbles lightly.
- Mix in the Gnocchi: Fold the cooked gnocchi into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if too thick.
- Crush in the Feta: Add crumbled feta cheese and stir gently. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve it Up: Plate your creamy gnocchi and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative for the cream. Pair with a salad for a complete meal.
