Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken and let it rest on a plate.
  5. Sauté the remaining butter and minced garlic in the skillet for about 1 minute.
  6. Add heavy cream and stir, scraping brown bits from the pan.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until melted.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it for another minute.
  9. Plate the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with parsley.
