- 8 Hot Dogs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)
- 8 Hot Dog Buns (soft, fresh, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
- 15 oz Canned Chili (No Beans)
- 1 Cup Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
- ½ Sweet Yellow Onion (Diced)
- Toppings (diced jalapeños, sour cream, barbecue sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Your Ingredients by slicing the hot dogs in half lengthwise.
- Assemble the Dish by arranging hot dog buns in the bottom of a large baking dish.
- Layer the Hot Dogs on top of the buns in a zig-zag pattern.
- Add the Chili, pouring it generously over the hot dogs.
- Sprinkle On the Onions evenly over the chili.
- Cheese Please! Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Serve & Enjoy after letting it cool for a few minutes.
