Description

A delicious twist on the classic chili cheese dog, baked into a cheesy masterpiece that’s perfect for family dinners or game days.


Ingredients

  • 8 Hot Dogs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)
  • 8 Hot Dog Buns (soft, fresh, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
  • 15 oz Canned Chili (No Beans)
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ Sweet Yellow Onion (Diced)
  • Toppings (diced jalapeños, sour cream, barbecue sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Your Ingredients by slicing the hot dogs in half lengthwise.
  3. Assemble the Dish by arranging hot dog buns in the bottom of a large baking dish.
  4. Layer the Hot Dogs on top of the buns in a zig-zag pattern.
  5. Add the Chili, pouring it generously over the hot dogs.
  6. Sprinkle On the Onions evenly over the chili.
  7. Cheese Please! Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  9. Serve & Enjoy after letting it cool for a few minutes.
