Ingredients

½ cup butter

1½ cups chocolate chips (semisweet or dark)

¾ cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup flour

¼ cup cocoa powder

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

Optional: extra chocolate chips or chopped nuts for topping


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

Melt butter and 1 cup chocolate chips together until smooth; cool slightly.

Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.

Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Fold in remaining chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes. Let cool before removing.
