Description

A delightful dish combining vibrant bowtie pasta and juicy cocktail meatball skewers, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
  • 12 Cocktail Meatballs
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • Skewers

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and drizzle a little olive oil to prevent clumping.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Combine ground meat, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl if making meatballs from scratch.
  5. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and thread them onto skewers.
  6. Cook the skewers on the grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  7. Add chopped basil and a generous glug of olive oil to the drained pasta and toss until combined.
  8. Arrange the meatball skewers beautifully over the pasta and garnish with additional fresh basil.
  9. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment by adding different herbs and spices to the meatballs or trying out alternative pasta shapes.
