2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
½ cup blueberry or strawberry jam
1 egg (for egg wash)
Sanding sugar for topping
Star-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out pie crusts and cut into star shapes using a cookie cutter.
Spoon a small amount of jam onto the center of half the stars.
Top with another star, pressing edges with a fork to seal.
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sanding sugar.
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
