Description

The ultimate BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger is a juicy beef patty layered with savory bacon, melted cheese, sweet and smoky barbecue sauce, and crispy onion rings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb hamburger patties
  • 4 large hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Barbecue sauce (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: onion rings, ketchup, pickles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your patties by shaping the ground beef into four equal, 1-inch thick patties. Make a small dent in the center.
  2. Get your grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.
  4. Grill the hamburger patties without moving them for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes with cheese on top.
  5. Add barbecue sauce during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the buns on the grill for about a minute.
  7. Assemble the burger: bottom bun, juicy patty with BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, and onion rings, topped with the top bun.
