Bacon-Wrapped Dates

Bacon-Wrapped Dates

  • Author: Jackson Walker

Description

Sweet, salty, and absolutely irresistible—bacon-wrapped dates are the ultimate party bite. The crisp bacon hugs a warm, caramel-like date, creating a simple but luxurious flavor bomb. Dress them up with creamy cheese or crunchy almonds for an elevated twist, or keep them classic and let the contrast speak for itself.

Ingredients

Scale

12 Medjool dates, pitted

6 slices bacon, cut in half

Optional fillings:

Soft goat cheese or blue cheese

Roasted almonds or pecans

Toothpicks (for securing)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.

Slice each date lengthwise (don’t cut all the way through) and remove the pit.

If using, stuff each date with cheese or nuts.

Wrap each date with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Place on baking sheet seam-side down.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until bacon is crispy.

Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
